Sourcing, walked in person.2026
The programmeFurniture tourism

Sourced across the world. Curated in your home.

Casa Sojourn turns sourcing into a journey you take yourself. Seven days through the furniture capitals, walked with our buyers, judged by hand, and closed with the order placed before you fly home.

It replaces two things at once: the blind browsing of a showroom, and the anxiety of importing alone. Selection happens in front of the material, in the factory that will make it, against your plan and your light. Every commitment then carries Wolf Casa accountability in India — one contract, one contact, one delivery date.

You are not touring furniture as a spectator. You are specifying a house, in the places where houses are actually made, with the people who will hold the order after you land.

The plan on the table

Landing, then straight into a working dinner. Your drawings are pinned, the light study is read back, and the week is fixed to what the house actually needs.

Day 02 — survey
Day 02SurveyShortlist opens

The district, walked with intent

A full day covering the district end to end without committing. You learn the ceiling of what is available before you spend anything.

Day 03 — the factories
Day 03The factoriesMaterial validated

Judged by hand

Behind the showrooms: frames, foam density, joinery, finishing lines. You handle the same material at three price points and stop guessing.

Day 04 — material lock

Surface hierarchy set

Stone, timber, veneer, textile — the hierarchy for the whole house is decided here, in daylight, against the samples you flew with.

Day 05 — deep selection
Day 05Deep selectionRooms filled

Room by room, against your light

The main selection day. Every room is filled in order — light, then material, then form, then furniture — with the buyer checking each piece against the directive.

Day 06 — remaining categories
Day 06Remaining categoriesHouse complete

Lighting, rugs, art, hardware

The categories that finish a room and are usually left to chance. Priced and specified alongside everything else, not after it.

Order placed before you fly

Final review, quantities, lead times and terms. One order, one contract, signed before you leave — nothing left open to be chased over email.

Why travel at all

A catalogue can lie about weight. A factory floor cannot.

Every serious mistake in furnishing a house comes from judging material on a screen. Casa Sojourn exists to move that judgement to the only place it is reliable: in front of the thing, in daylight, with the person who made it.

01You see the price before the markup+

Buying at origin removes two intermediaries. On a full house that difference typically pays for the trip several times over, and we show the comparison against Indian retail before you commit.

02You judge quality by hand, once+

Frame timber, foam density, veneer thickness, weld quality. Half a day on a factory floor teaches more than a year of showrooms, and it is not a lesson you have to repeat.

03The house is bought as one decision+

Ordering everything in one week, against one directive, is why the rooms agree with each other. Furnishing over two years is why most houses do not.

04The risk stays in India+

You do not deal with a foreign supplier, a freight forwarder or customs. Wolf Casa is the counterparty on the whole order, under Indian contract, with service held here.

Common questions
01What does it cost+

The programme fee is quoted per itinerary and is credited against your order above a threshold set at booking. Freight, duty and installation are quoted separately once the order is locked.

02Am I obliged to buy+

No. Days one and two are deliberately non-committal. If the week does not produce a house you believe in, nothing is ordered.

03Can I bring my architect+

Yes, and we prefer it. Two travellers are included; further seats are added at cost.

04How long until delivery+

Eight to fourteen weeks from the lock for most routes, longer for commissioned work. Every lead time is written into the order before you sign.

05What if something arrives damaged+

It is checked at our warehouse before it reaches you, and it is our claim to make, not yours. Replacement is handled under the Indian contract.
